CUSTOMER INFORMATION AND TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE UNITED KINGDOM
These general terms and conditions apply to all orders through www.thelotuslondon.com (“the Website”), purchases made over social media, Whats App and in store. Please read these General Terms and Conditions carefully before confirming your order. By ordering our products, you indicate that you consent to the conditions below and state that you are competent to enter into legally-binding contracts and are at least 18 years old. We recognise rules that differ from these General Terms and Conditions only if they are confirmed by us in writing. That also applies to a deviation from this clause requiring written documents.
- Contracting Party
This Website, our social media, Whats App and store are operated by The Lotus London, 137 Green St, London E7 8JE, which is legally represented by Bhavisha Tailor, its Art Director. This is where you can place complaints or assert warranty claims.

- Formation of Contract
Your orders with us are binding offers for entering into the associated contracts to purchase with The Lotus London. We are free to either accept these offers within 14 days of receipt or to reject them by sending you a statement to that effect. There is no binding contract to purchase formed until we have accepted your order. This acceptance is indicated by the shipment of the goods ordered.
We reserve the right to reject orders from customers if there is reason to believe that the customer is acting in contravention of the General Terms and Conditions, is involved in fraudulent activities or other activities of importance from a criminal law standpoint or any other material reason exists.
Products and prices shown on the Website, or discussed are available as long as they are in stock. We reserve the right to change the products or prices at any time without notice and to limit the number of items that may be purchased by a visitor.
There is no liability for lack of items in stock or for products not being available.
Any commercial resale or distribution of The Lotus London products sold on the Website is strictly prohibited.
Please note that after your order is confirmed, no requests to change or cancel can be considered, this is because all our orders are customised to our client’s needs.
- Reservation of Performance for Undeliverable Goods
If the goods ordered cannot be delivered within 30 days following the day after your order, we may withdraw from the contract, even if we previously confirmed that we were entering into it. If we withdraw, you will be informed that the goods are not available and you will be reimbursed immediately for the consideration you have already provided.
- Payment conditions
The purchase price for goods ordered is due when you place your order with The Lotus London. If you pay with a credit card, we reserve the right to check the validity of the card and to monitor the availability parameters for collection and the address data. If the institution that issued the credit card refuses to make payment to us, we are not liable for delays or for failure to deliver.
- Delivery and Reservation of Title
Please note that upon placement of orders, the item(s) need to be handmade and crafted. This process can take a few days to complete, therefore we may need to extend the agreed delivery date.
The delivery charges are based on your order value and your delivery location.
You may return any of The Lotus London orders within 7 days of receipt of shipment if…
The item(s) you receive has a manufacturing defect, we may provide you with a refund, exchange or a credit note for the same amount. When purchasing in-store, please check all items clearly as we are not responsible for the item once it leaves the shop.
If the reason for the return is not in relation to a manufacturing fault, we may provide an exchange or credit note, however The Lotus London reserve the right to refuse a refund or credit note if the jewellery was customised specifically for the client.
All items are customised with the information provided during the ordering process and agreed by the client. Hence any change or minds or adjustments can endure additional costs, payable by the customer. Please note that we cannot exchange or refund sets that come with pierced jewellery for hygiene reasons.
Please make note, that we are not liable for the cost for delivering items back to us.
When sending items back, please enclose a covering letter and include your order confirmation email with the original packaging items were sent in.
